We are an early-stage technology company founded by top database experts, building a high-performance, highly reliable distributed database for the AI era. Core team members come from well-known projects at Alibaba and Huawei, and we are now building the next-generation cloud-native AI database kernel. You will work directly on core database modules and take on frontier problems: petabyte-scale analytics, intelligent query optimization, and multi-active deployments across clouds.
What you will do
- Design and develop core modules — storage engine, query optimizer, execution engine.
- Optimize execution engine performance and solve high-concurrency, low-latency challenges.
- Build automated test frameworks that keep the database kernel stable and reliable.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer-related field, with strong command of C++ or Java (at least one).
- Solid fundamentals: operating systems, data structures, network protocols, compiler principles.
- Familiar with database internals, with depth in at least one of: storage engines (LSM-Tree / B+Tree), query optimization (Volcano / Cascades models), or execution engines.
- Genuine technical curiosity — able to read papers and open-source code (PostgreSQL, MySQL, TiDB) quickly.
